Turks & Caicos


Celebrating 19 years of marriage we went to one of the only places we could go to Turks & Caicos. Covid test and a lot of paperwork later . . . Wow, the water was insane, we had our own little cove to swim in (that all the Kardashian-wanna-bes tried to steal for their photoshoots). Everything was obviously outdoors, safe and relaxing.
 

The rest of this last newsletter of the year is gonna be short and sweet – unlike this sucky year. So far we have made it through healthy and that is all that matters.

The rest of December was spent writing . . . I know, writing, writing, writing. Showcasing best-selling authors on my IG and YouTube (I had Ruth Ware, Lisa Jewell, Tessa Fontaine) and have plotted out next years posts, which will include Where the Magic Happens, looking inside writer’s spaces.

Me and Tempsst and a little person, participated in an impromptu parade, delivering a ton of toys to Unity Shoppe.

Bakin Bitch got really creative this year and yes, I did gain weight but oh well . . . January will be another story.

I have no idea what 2021 brings but let’s hope great things. I pulled a Goddess card and did a Christmas Star incantation. I do think I will see a lot of opportunity this year, but I also want to give opportunity. January continues my two film students that I am mentoring their projects and my writing mentoring program Stories Matter will begin! I so hope I get to travel a lot next year, this virus dies, and I can see people, eat out, not look at my friends as if being around them will kill me. I hope the kids have a great second semester and thrive and I wish all of you to get lost in stories.

Next month I have another book club zoom, this one for “Feuding Fan Dancers.” Super excited for it. If your BOOK CLUB would like me to visit via Skype, I’m available. By the time you read this I will have devour 110-111 books this year! Must be a record for me. So many good ones, all genres. I’ve very much been into mysteries and thrillers. Just one great December read was Ruth Ware’s “One by One.” Set in the French Alps, guests at a chic resort begin to die . . . you’ll love it
